Cedar Creek Lodges offers a range of accommodation styles on Tamborine Mountain. It is ideal for family holidays, romantic escapes, conferences and picture perfect weddings. You can do as much or as little as you like the choice is yours.

The lounge bar features a state of the art Nightlife virtual DJ with great video clips on a huge wall mounted screen, a delightful ambience, stylish furnishings and gourmet food. Baby sitters can be arranged and kids can join the Rainforest Rangers Club (minimum numbers apply and bookings required).

Guests can explore the natural bushland along the walking tracks, swim in the resort pool or natural rock pools, play mini golf, volleyball or half court tennis. Pampering and body treatments are available and groups can take part in pre-booked yoga and tai chi sessions.

Find treasure and meet Rockodile, Thunderbird Parks rock expert. Take excitement to the top at Adventure Parc, Australias longest and highest adventure ropes course. Climb cable ladders, balance on rope bridges, catch a flying fox, crawl through tunnels, manoeuvre on suspended trunks or jump from great heights.

Go horse trail riding, bush walking or play laser skirmish in an outstanding rainforest battlefield, themed with an authentic Kokoda village .

Set in the heart of Thunderbird Park is the new addition of the Terrace Kiosk with a wood fired pizza oven. The Terrace Kiosk offers affordable and tasty meals and snacks and the Terrace Deli sells essential items and take away frozen delicacies that are easily microwaved.

Creek Lodge

The Creek Lodges are self contained 2 bedroom architecturally designed lodges nestled along the banks of beautiful Cedar Creek. The decor is stylish and contemporary with cedar timber shutters, polished timber floors, high ceilings and private balconies.

Deluxe Spa Room

The Deluxe Spa Rooms are the original spa rooms and contain a queen bed, a sofa (can be converted to a single bed), reverse cycle window unit air conditioning, a 2 person oval spa bath with dual padded head rests and an 32" HD LCD wall mounted TV and DVD player.

Luxury Spa Room

The Luxury Spa Rooms have recently been beautifully refurbished and contain a king bed, leather sofa, new reverse cycle air conditioning, a 2 person oval spa bath with dual padded head rests and an 32" HD LCD wall mounted TV and DVD player. There is a dual basin powder bench kitchen appliances.

Premium Room

The stylish Premium Rooms contain 2 queen beds with mobile occasional tables, a small 2 seater settee with pull out foot rest, new reverse cycle air conditioning, twin basin powder room with Holywood lights, a 32" HD LCD wall unit TV and DVD player, kitchen appliances and Robin Hood ironing centre.

Superior Room

The recently renovated Superior Rooms contain a queen bed and a king bed which can be split into 2 single beds, new reverse cycle air conditioning, kitchen appliances and a wall mounted 26" HD LCD TV. DVD players are available upon request for small refundable deposit.

Travel Directions

Directions from Brisbane to Thunderbird Park

Follow the M1 south from the city to exit 35. Follow the signs to Beenleigh Beaudesert Rd and travel along this road for approx 22km, turn left at the intersection onto Tamborine Mountain Rd. Travel approx 6.5km along this road and Thunderbird Park is situated at the junction of Cedar Creek Falls Road. Cedar Creek Falls Road is on your left and Thunderbird Park is a hard right at the orange Pterodactyl which is the entrance to Thunderbird Park.

Directions from Gold Coast to Thunderbird Park

Follow the M1 north to Exit 57, then turn left onto the Old Pacific Hwy. At the roundabout, take the second exit to Tamborine Oxenford Road. Travel up Tamborine Oxenford Rd for approx 20km until you come to a fig tree in at a roundabout. Turn right onto Long Road (Gallery Walk), follow to the next roundabout and turn right onto Eagle Heights Rd. Follow this to the end and turn right at the T intersection. Follow this along for 5km and Thunderbird Park is on the right at the junction of Cedar Creek Falls Road.

Things To Do

Adventure Parc - Designed for family fun, fitness and corporate team building. Children and adults alike will love the exhilaration of a big healthy day out with courses designed to be challenging for all ages. 83 jungle games including 11 flying foxes.

Laser Skirmish - It's like a real life computer game. Using an invisible and harmless infrared beam (like TV remotes) we form teams with mission objectives and play in the lush rainforest. Kit up in camouflage gear and face paint. It's ready, aim...fun!

Thunderegg Fossicking - Cut open a 200 million year old mystery. Fossick for treasures in the Worlds largest thunderegg mine. Millions of years in the making, yet it only takes minutes to uncover a thunderegg, unearthed from prehistoric volcanic lava.

Tamborine Mountain Trail Rides - Climb upwards to venutre through majestic, tall gum trees with breath taking views of Thunderbird Park. Share the joy of horses and experience a safe and enjoyable trail ride. Pony rides for little ones and trail rides start from 1/2 hour.

Bush Walking - "Leave only footprints and take only photos" Thunderbird Park is centrally located amongst a mind boggling number of National Parks and rainforest areas absolutely teeming with the ultimate wonders of the very real natural Australia.

Swimming - The salt water pool and natural rock pools are available to Cedar Creek Lodges in-house guests and Thunderbird Parks campers only. They are not available to day-visitors. The pool is licensed with a current pool safety certificate.

Mini Golf - Play a round of mini golf on Thunderbird Park's original 18 hole mini golf course. It borders horse paddocks and golf clubs and balls are available from the main reception of Cedar Creek Lodges which is located off the main carpark.
